The fourth year of the Platon Basketball Spring Tournament is now behind us, and this year’s event has made us wiser and even more eager for next season’s tournament.
On the competitive front, Olympiacos claimed the top spot, proving to be by far the most consistent team in the competition. They demonstrated this in the final against NKA (85-73), comfortably defeating the Lithuanian team in their debut at PBS, which left a strong impression.
During the four-day tournament from April 24-27, European developmental basketball took center stage at the Platon Olympio Arena. Coaches and young players had the opportunity to assess their strengths and areas for improvement.
The athletes from Stella Azzura and NKA were thrilled not only by the competition but also by the hospitality, as they toured the Olympic Museum and OAKA, gaining unforgettable experiences that went beyond the scope of a regular tournament.
The stands were packed, live streaming had impressive viewership, and the interest from coaches, scouts, and basketball fans was remarkable! The Platon Basketball Spring continues to grow year by year — and this year was a clear testament to that.

The 5th PBS is already in the works, and if this year is anything to go by… it’s going to be even bigger and better!
